Fluf world is an extensive metaverse project created by Non Fungible Labs, a web3 creative company based out of Auckland, New Zealand. When I say the project is extensive, I mean it, and this extensiveness is why the project is still performing well in the face of a difficult market for NFT projects in general.

The initial Fluf World project drop consisted of a 10k collection of avatars, created to be metaverse ready. The idea behind providing metaverse ready avatars being to embue the NFT with interoperability with the metaverse that Fluf World is building out. Holder’s NFTs will then “plug in” to the broader ecosystem. In the case of Fuluf World avatars, traits which are present in a holder’s NFT will appear as part of their metaverse character when the metaverse system goes fully live. There is an important distinction between NFTs such as this which can integrate into a metaverse environment, and simple jpegs which are just pictures of cartoon animals. The creation of metaverse ready avatars is more complicated and requires more work, and this is why Fluf World has been holding its value while all around other projects are losing theirs.

The project has been building out beyond avatars, with this initial 10k offering being merely the beginning. Follow up drops to the fluffy bunny avatars include; Thingies, Party Bears, Seekers, Burrows, EGGS, Scenes & Sounds, and Fluf Haus. Each of these follow up drops has it’s own place in the ecosystem that Non Fungible Labs are building out, and it’s fair to assume that there will be more additions to the ever growing collection as time moves forward.

For those buying into the Fluf world it is important to understand what value the various different NFTs will provide to the user in the long run. In essence then these NFTs are land in the Fluf World metaverse, and depending on the success of the implementation, could be very valuable in the future.
